We're Sparks Bright Electrical, an electrical firm based in Guildford working across West Surrey. We decide what happens to the information described here, which in data protection language makes us the data controller. Email hello@example.co.uk or ring 01483 000000.
The form on this site is handled by Formspree, which passes your message to our inbox. We get your name, email address, phone number and what you've told us about the job. If the work doesn't go ahead, we delete the enquiry after twelve months.
We keep your name, address, phone number and email, the quote, the invoice, and the record of what we did. Electrical work also produces certificates, and our certification scheme requires us to keep those, along with the test results behind them, for at least six years. Payment records are kept for six years because HMRC requires it.
We photograph our own work, mostly consumer units and finished installations. If a photo would show anything identifiable about your home, we ask before we use it anywhere.
Our certification scheme, when it inspects our work, which it does every year. A supplier or a subcontractor, where they need your address to deliver or to be on site. Our accountant, for the invoices. Nobody else.
We don't sell anything to anyone, and we don't pass your details to anyone who wants to sell you solar panels.
You can ask to see what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop using it. Certificates and payment records we have to keep for the periods above, and we'll tell you when that applies.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us first and we'll do our best to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers see the request your browser makes for them. Our host keeps ordinary server logs for security.
