Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences and understand how you use the site.
Nothing below is stored until you accept. Before you choose, Google receives basic signals without cookies, and PostHog counts visits without storing anything on your device.
Your cookie choice
Remembers whether you accepted or declined, so you don't see the banner on every visit. It's kept in your browser's storage rather than as a cookie.
Name: cookie-consent | Duration: Until you clear it | Type: Essential
Google Analytics
If you accept, Google Analytics shows me which pages are popular, how long people stay and where visitors come from, so I can improve the website.
Names: _ga, _ga_* | Duration: Up to 2 years | Type: Analytics
Google Ads
If you accept and you arrived here from a Google ad, Google Ads uses a cookie to tell me that ad led to an enquiry, so I know which ads are worth the spend. It's only used to count enquiries, never to personalise the ads you see elsewhere.
Names: _gcl_au, _gcl_aw | Duration: Up to 90 days | Type: Advertising (conversion tracking)
PostHog
If you accept, PostHog (hosted in the EU) records which pages you visit and which buttons you click, so I can see what helps people get in touch. Before you choose, it counts visits without storing anything on your device. If you decline, it records nothing.
Name: ph_*_posthog | Duration: Up to 1 year | Type: Analytics
Other things stored in your browser
Which website or campaign brought you here, kept only for your visit and only sent to me if you submit a form (mbf-utm, mbf-ref). A flag that turns analytics off on my own devices (mbf-internal). If you decline, PostHog keeps a small note of that so your choice sticks.
Type: Essential
On this website: You can accept or decline these cookies when you first visit, and change your mind at any time with the button below or "Cookie settings" in the footer. If you decline after accepting, I delete the analytics and advertising cookies this site set on your device.
In your browser: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking all cookies may affect how some websites work.
Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies are set by Google. You can learn more about how Google uses data at Google's Privacy Policy. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
