Why this costs less than an agency
Surrey agencies usually start around £3,000 and rise quickly. A lot of that pays for offices, account managers and layers of people between you and whoever actually builds the thing.
With me, you work directly with the person designing and coding your site. Lower overheads, fewer middle-men, and a fixed quote you agree before any work starts. The site itself is just as fast and just as custom, often faster, because I don't lean on bloated page-builders.

How much does a web designer cost in Surrey?
It depends what you need, and you'll see real numbers before you commit. A Clarity Report (audit plus strategy call) is £300. A custom brochure site starts at £900, a CMS site you can edit yourself from £1,500. Surrey agencies typically start around £3,000 and climb from there, mostly because of office and team overheads you end up paying for.
Should I hire a freelancer or an agency?
If you're a small business that needs a clean, fast site that brings in enquiries, a freelancer is usually better value and far less hassle. You work directly with the person building it, not a project manager relaying messages. Agencies make more sense once you need a big team, large-scale campaigns, or a brand built from scratch.
Do you only work with businesses in Surrey?
I'm based in Surrey and happy to meet in person around Guildford, Woking, Reigate, Epsom and the rest of the county. But most of the work happens remotely, so I build for small businesses right across the UK.
I'm stuck on Wix or Squarespace. Can you move me off it?
Yes. I'll move you onto a faster, custom site and make sure you keep your content and search rankings. You own the domain, the hosting, and the site itself afterwards, so you're never locked in again.
How long does it take?
A brochure site is usually 2–4 weeks from deposit to launch, depending on how quickly you can get me content. I'll give you a firm date before we start.
