How much does a website actually cost?
Depends what you need. A custom brochure site starts at £900. CMS sites with editable content start at £1,500. E-commerce from £2,000. Custom web apps from £3,000. Automation is £75/hour, scoped up front. Starting prices are public, and you get one fixed quote before we begin. That number doesn't move once we start.
How long does it take to build?
Brochure sites usually take 2–3 weeks. CMS sites 3–5 weeks. E-commerce 4–8 weeks depending on scope. I'll give you a firm date before we start, and I stick to it.
Why hire you instead of using Wix or Squarespace?
You own the site outright. No monthly platform fees, and nothing stopping you from leaving with it whenever you want. It's faster, ranks better on Google, and it looks like your business, not one of two hundred sharing the same template.
Do you work outside Surrey?
Yes. I'm based in Surrey but my work happens remotely. If you'd prefer to meet in person, Guildford, Woking, Reigate, Epsom, Farnham, Dorking, Leatherhead and the rest of Surrey are easy.
Can I update the site myself afterwards?
With a CMS Website (from £1,500), yes. Blog posts, services and testimonials, all editable through a simple dashboard. With a Brochure site, I do the updates. Small ones are free, bigger ones go through Website Rescue at £40/hour.
What if I already have a website?
Two options. If it mostly works but has problems, Website Rescue (£40/hour) fixes it. If it's beyond saving, a full rebuild starts at £900. A free 20-minute consultation is the honest way to find out which one you actually need.
Do you do ongoing maintenance and SEO?
Yes. Ongoing Support starts at £75/month. That covers updates, backups, small content changes and performance monitoring. SEO fundamentals come baked in with every site I build. If you want active lead generation, the Growth Engine adds outreach and content in your voice on top.
What if I'm not happy with the design?
Every site includes two rounds of revisions. We start with a free consultation and a clear, fixed quote, so you can see how I work before committing to a build. If I'm not a fit, you'll still leave with an honest answer and a clear next step.
