These terms apply to all web design and development services provided by Made by Federica ("I", "me"). By engaging my services, you ("you", "the client") agree to these terms. Specific project details will be outlined in a separate proposal or contract.
I provide web design, development, and related services as outlined in individual project proposals. Each proposal will detail the specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and cost.
Any work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately before proceeding.
I'll provide estimated timelines in my proposal. These depend on receiving content and feedback from you on time. Delays caused by late content or feedback may extend the project timeline. I'll communicate proactively if any issues arise on my end.
My proposals typically include two rounds of revisions at each stage (design and development). A "revision" means changes to the agreed scope—not new features or significant additions.
Additional revision rounds or scope changes will be quoted separately.
Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you provide (text, images, logos, etc.).
Final Deliverables: Upon full payment, you own the final website design and code. I may use open-source tools and libraries which retain their original licenses.
Portfolio Rights: I reserve the right to showcase the completed project in my portfolio and marketing materials, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
If you need to cancel a project, let me know as soon as possible.
Before work begins: Full deposit refund minus any expenses incurred.
After work begins: You'll be invoiced for work completed at my standard hourly rate. Any remaining deposit will be refunded or applied to the invoice.
I take pride in my work and stand behind it. However, my liability is limited to the amount you've paid for the project. I'm not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. I recommend maintaining backups of your website and content.
I'll keep your business information confidential. I won't share details about your project with third parties without your permission, except where necessary to complete the work (e.g., domain registrars, hosting providers).
I may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your project are those in effect when we sign the project agreement.
