Who you'll be working with
I'm Federica. I spent eight years as an engineer and product manager, including leading UX work at IBM. The job was working out what people need from a screen and making it easy for them to act. Now I do that for new businesses in Surrey. My portfolio is small because the business is new. The experience behind it isn't.
Why it costs what it does
I work on my own from home in Woking, so there's no office or account manager to pay for. Four pages is a fixed job, so it can have a fixed price. I'm also building my portfolio. What doesn't get cut is the words, the design and the Google set-up.

Only for the first few months. £85 a month over a 12-month minimum is £1,020. My £300 website is paid once, and after that you pay about £10 to £15 a year for the domain.

If most of your customers are local, it's worth it. You meet people who'll recommend you, and it's another place your business is listed accurately.
What does a logo and website cost?
A logo and a four-page website is £450. A website on its own is £300, with the words written for you, and a website you can edit yourself is £750. Your domain is about £10 to £15 a year on top, paid straight to the company you buy it from. There's no VAT to add, and the price is fixed before we start.
Do I have to write the words?
No. We talk for half an hour or so about your business and your customers, and I write the pages from that. You read them and tell me what to change.
