What you're getting
Comes with two editors: a form wizard for the first fill-in (type your details, download your finished site) and the same in-page editor as every other kit for changes, photos and colours after that.
The example site is A fictional Guildford electrician. Everything it says is the kind of thing your site should say, with your details in place of theirs.
What this requires from you
Read this before you buy.
This is a self-hosted template, not a hosted service. No calls, no setup, no hosting and no support from Federica are included at this price. Buying it gets you the files and guides — getting a live website is on you. Here's exactly what that means:
- •A domain name — About £10 a year from a registrar like Namecheap or 123 Reg. You buy and own this, not Federica.
- •Free hosting, set up by you — Netlify's free tier works. The launch checklist in the kit walks through connecting your domain to it, step by step.
- •Your own edits — Swap the example text, photos and colours for yours using the editor built into every page. No code, but nobody does it for you.
- •A form handler for enquiries — A free Formspree account (or similar) so your contact form actually sends you emails. Covered in the launch checklist.
If you get stuck, Website Rescue is £40/hour — billed separately, not included. Only buy this if you're comfortable following written instructions.

£99 once, or renting forever?
A personal plan on a builder like Squarespace or Wix runs about £16 a month once you take payments or need a proper domain. It adds up quietly, and you still don't own anything at the end of it.

Refund and licence
Licence
Buy it once and use it for one business on one live website. The files are yours to edit and keep. Please don't resell or redistribute the kit itself.
Refunds
If something's genuinely wrong with the files and I can't fix it, email within 14 days and I'll refund you. It's a digital download you can open and copy the moment it lands, so I can't refund simply for a change of mind once you've downloaded it.
Common questions
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. There's a live demo of this exact kit: open it, click Edit this page and change the words, swap a photo, pick your colours. What you try is what you get.
What if the layout doesn't fit my business?
In edit mode you can copy a block to add more, another service or FAQ, remove ones you don't need, and delete a whole section, FAQs, say, if none of the stock questions apply, all in the page with no code. Anything you remove waits in the Add section button so you can bring it straight back, and the kit throws in a couple of optional extras there too, a recent-jobs gallery and a guarantee band among them, if you fancy more than you started with. The numbering keeps itself in order. If you ever want to start over, the original files are untouched in your kit folder.
How do I edit it?
Two ways. First, the setup wizard: open it in your browser, fill in your business details in the boxes, and download your finished website already personalised. After that, changes go through the same in-page editor as every other kit: open any page, click Edit this page in the bottom-right corner, click any text or photo and type over it, then download the updated page. No code, no builder account, nothing to install.
Can I use my own photos?
Yes. In edit mode, click any photo (or grey placeholder), before/afters, van shots, finished jobs, and choose a picture from your computer. It's resized for the web automatically, so photos off a phone on site are fine.
Can I change the colours?
Yes. The editor has a Colours panel for the accent and the background (plus ink where the design uses it), so the site can match your van livery or logo instead of the example electrician. Set the same colours on each page and download.
Where do I put it once it's edited?
Anywhere. Free hosting on Netlify is the simplest route, covered step by step in the launch checklist that comes with the kit. Connecting your domain is on you.
What if I get stuck?
The guides cover the wizard, setup, forms, Google Business Profile and updating content later, but there's no support included at this price. If you'd rather someone just do it for you, Website Rescue is £40/hour, or tell me about your project and I'll build it properly.
Do I own it?
Yes, and that's the point. Everything on this site says don't rent your website from a builder, and this is the £99 version of practising it: a one-off payment for real files on your computer. No subscription, no licence to renew, nothing that disappears when you stop paying. Hosting is a separate cost you arrange yourself, typically free on Netlify.
